The child well-being scorecards, produced by Afrobarometer, Laws.Africa, and the Data for Governance Alliance, graphically highlight African citizens’ views on physical discipline of children, frequency of neglect and abuse of children, and whether there is help for vulnerable children at the community level. The scorecards also indicate whether the countries have ratified the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child and submitted initial reports to the Committee of Experts.
